3D Cube End Grain Butcher Block
Maple Cherry Walnut
18 x 26 x 2 inches
The first thing people do when they see this board is look twice. The 3D tumbling cube pattern across the surface does not look like wood at first glance. It looks like something that should not be possible on a cutting board. Up close, the craftsmanship tells the rest of the story. Every line is tight, every transition is clean, and the contrast between the maple, cherry, and walnut pulls the pattern into full depth.
The walnut border frames the surface and the walnut sides give the board a grounded, substantial look that matches the weight of the build. This is not a light piece. It has presence on the counter.
At 18 x 26 inches, there is enough real estate here for serious prep work. Breaking down a large cut of meat, working through a full
meal, or just having a surface worthy of the food going on it. The juice groove runs the perimeter to contain liquids and keep the counter clean. Finger holds are cut into both ends so moving the board is effortless even when it is loaded. Four maple bun feet with rubber pads keep it elevated off the counter and locked in place during use.
Finished with Wild Board Conditioner. The three species come fully alive under it.
This board was built as a custom order for a general contractor.
No pressure or anything.
